- Has previous veterinary hospital or animal-handling experience
- Has knowledge of vaccination protocols and understands the importance of spay/neuter
- Can dedicate themselves to providing excellent care for our clients and the patients in our facility
- Possess a strong work ethic and can be a dependable member of our team
- Is capable of multi-tasking with minimal supervision
- Works well in a team environment
- Is able to comfortably lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Is available to work Monday - Friday
- Bi-lingual is a plus

Front Office Staff - Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting clients for check-in/check-out each day, including payment handling
- Assisting clients for walk-in vaccination clinic
- Answering multi-line phones
- Maintaining patient database, including data entry and records maintenance
- Providing excellent service both in person and over the phone
- Maintain cleanliness of front office area each day
- Working to ensure clients feel comfortable leaving their pet with us for surgery
- This is a full-time position
Registered Veterinary Technician (must have CA RVT license):
Are you a Registered Veterinary Technician with a passion for making a difference in the lives of animals in your community? Do you desire a work schedule that gives you free time in the evenings, weekends, and most holidays? Critters Without Litters seeks a licensed RVT to join our staff. The position may be PT or FT in our fast-paced, nonprofit spay/neuter clinic.
Are you a Registered Veterinary Technician with a passion for making a difference in the lives of animals in your community? Do you desire a work schedule that gives you free time in the evenings, weekends, and most holidays? Critters Without Litters seeks a licensed RVT to join our staff. The position may be PT or FT in our fast-paced, nonprofit spay/neuter clinic.
- Assist with triage of patients as they are checked in for surgery
- Provide excellent patient care
- Assist veterinarians in surgery as needed
- Calculate and administer anesthesia to all surgical patients per anesthetic protocol
- Maintain all necessary drug logs and patient records
- Stay current in knowledge of emergency drugs and protocol
- Administer animal vaccinations, tests, medications and treatments as directed.
- Assist in providing direction to veterinary assistants and volunteers as needed
- Maintaining patient flow to the surgical staff
- Actively promote spay/neuter and educate clients on responsible animal ownership
- Assist in the maintenance of medical inventory and supplies
